    Hey guys,

Could any1 give me any advice on what CPU I should upgrade to?

I have the T5750 currently and its been three years, and I feel like getting an upgrade.

Since it has been three years, most of my possible upgrades are only found on eBay (and are used CPUs pulled from working devices).

    My Options (Used*):

    T7500 (at bid $31 currently)

    T9300 ($ 115)

    X9000 ($199)

The X9000 seems like a stretch I probably won't need that processor and it takes more power (44 v.s. 35 Watts).

The T9300 is only slightly faster than the T7500, but it would run much cooler (but does that alone justify the price?) I know 45nm is much more power efficient and runs cooler than the 65nm T7500.

I have no issues with T7500 compatibility with my laptop, but I am not so sure with the T9300 (And paying $100 to squeeze out some life outta my laptop, I may need some assurance).

    Thanks
