it gets rid of jagged lines but 1920x1200 is such a high resolution and 17 inches is such a small screen that its just not needed. Give it a try and tell me what you think .

4x aa will kill your framerate in most games and thats where your slowdown is coming from. Download a program called FRAPS and run it with AA on and off and it will show your frame rate in the corner of your screen in yellow and you will see how much performance your losing from AA on.

yeah i know about fraps, i just use the built in frame rate monitor in cod, i forgot what it is, but you type it in the console and it stays enabled.

and its not really my frame rate that is dropping, my frame rate stays above 40fps at all times. its like a video freeze/lag, i dont know how to explain it.

turn on dual vid cards it'll make a difference. I have a x305 and left that off until I read somewhere here on the forums to turn it on even if you have just a single card and that you'll get better performance and so I did. Try it and tell me if you have better results.

try checking Quads resolution.. otherwise, turn off "Sync every frame" and possibly..in NVIDIA control panel, check your settings..and see what # of pre-rendered frames you have it set to. Read the description of that setting, sounds exactly like what you are describin..kinda. 3 is ideal, and default setting.
