Does your computer operate normally? If your answer is yes then you have the best BIOS for your system.

BIOS aren't going to really influence anything except the VERY BASIC operations of the computer. So as long as that works there isn't a need to go mucking around in your system.

I understand what your saying but I would
like to know what my options are as far as
overclocking and upgrading to a new processor.
And what BIOS is going to let me do that?

No bios will let you overclock and if I'm not mistaken all will let you upgrade to a new processor. pick speed then pursue after that processor. For example i just ordered a t9600 (2.8ghz) for $230 happened to be E0 stepping, and i will most likely post after i receive it.

Eboogie has the situation correct. By far all of the gateway BIOS are the same. The minor (and by minor i mean so minor no end user will even notice unless they have a problem to begin with) differences will do absolutely nothing for you.

You will gain no Quad Support, no OC capabilities, no extra BIOS options... basically you spend the time and effort flashing your BIOS and you've gained the knowledge that you wasted your time
