    Can any fx7811 check something for me?

    I usually don't check over my laptop meticulously. I don't hunt for dead pixels; not even sure I could find them, etc. I did just notice though that the bottom center panel holder of the lcd sticks out a tad. I can push it in with my finger so it's flush with the lcd, whereas the rest of the 'panel holder' is tight on the lcd.

    So if you were to take your finger and make a straight line from the web cam down to the bottom... does that bottom area stick out any? Can you push it in at all?

    Yeah I'm probably not explaining this right. Just the outer panel that actually holds the lcd in. Center, directly above the media keys (so actually the stop button). Can you push that area in with your finger?

    I just checked and the LCD's frame does bow a bit at the center of the bottom part, I wouldn't be concerned just try to keep dust out of it. To answer your question more specifically, yes the center of the bottom of the frame can be pushed in a little bit.

    Ah ok. Well that's good to know. I wasn't sure if it was an actual flaw with my machine.
