I just got this laptop and I want to play videos on the TV. This laptop had the radeon HD2600, but only has HDMI and vga ports.
So I was hoping to buy an adaptor like this:

    http://www.amazon.com/NEW-CONVERTER...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1220550078&sr=8-1

But from reading around, the laptop needs be set to TV output in order for the adapter to work. I can't find this option anywhere. I tried catalyst control center, but the only option is for the card to detect the display device. Would that work? Anyone have any experiences? thx
