Ive never seen a DVD player have an S-video input unless its a DVD recorver. Is it a DVD recorder?

If its only a DVD player then no you cant.

If its a DVD player/recorder than yes you most likely can.

OR you can simply buy a cheap S-video to Composite adapter which costs like $1....

What connections does your tv have? What ever it is I'm sure there is a adapter for it. Any electronics store should have them.
