So my FX is still pretty new. It's the latest build, serial number P2888. It had the latest BIOS from the store though I flashed it anyway with the BIOS on this site in an attempt to fix this problem.

When I start the machine I press F2 repeatedly to enter the BIOS and it will say "Entering Setup..." but then it will just continue to boot windows. ***? I had been in the BIOS once before but that was several days ago. Any ideas?

Hit F10 instead to enter the boot menu and select setup from there. It's a know issue with the 9c.08.00 bios build.

Got it. You can also hit F2 like a mad man. If you turn on the Gateway splash it also goes in pressing F2 only once. Not that it really matters. OEM BIOSs really suck.

    Thanks!
