I got my laptop a few days ago from BB and I noticed that the charger sometimes makes a weird buzzing noise.
My question is, can I return it to BB without having to have my laptop replaced? I'm one of the lucky ones who's 7811 has been performing perfectly. So I would be hesitant to replace the laptop just because of the charger.
It's really not that annoying to me since I put the charger on the floor, but if it is harming my laptop then that is another story.

There were quite a few that did that. If the laptop itself is a good one then I wouldn't swap it. The buzzing itself doesn't seem to cause any issues but if it bothers you then I'm sure someone will link the Targus unit for like 26 bucks. It's beefier and no buzzing. It also lets you use the OEM unit as a spare down the road if needed.

But no other real issues... -

 Targus 180w power supply FTW!!!!
i love this thing, even if the connector is a bit long.
also, avetec are the people i bought my PS from. and they also have the lowest price through amazon right now. i think i wound up paying 45 bucks for mine with express shipping. -

Mine makes noises. It sits underneath my desk. Makes a great foot warmer.
As the old saying goes, if it works, why fix it? -

because its pretty much maxing out the power supply. i dont know about you, but i want to make sure that my legs arent going to get lopped off by exploding power supplies.

Because there's always a better way to do things. That's probably why many people here upgrade, overclock, and mod.

....was that a rhetorical question? -
 I smell a lawsuit....
Sorry about my horrible jokes
Nah

i used to keep my PS over the air conditioning vent located under my desk, but after that first 'hiss' or 'pop' sound, i bought that targus PS right away.

Not too mention also, when my ears starting bleeding from the hissing.
