I'll be in Switzerland for longer and will need to find a solution to charge my P7811FX... Is there a way that there is a cable from the output to the laptops charger I already have? bc. now i just have the american one from the charger to the ouput, is there a Swiss one available? (230V)

    thx for your help

You just need an AC Power Converter for Europe. Available online or even at Radio Shack, just make sure can support the wattage. I spent many years in Spain using American TVs and Computers.

    Costs around 25-30 bucks.

Isn't the power supply of these laptops automatically switching?

The power supply of my P-6831FX takes 100-240V. I would tihnk it is the same for your laptop.

Edit: Martee's link is what you need. An converter is not needed, just an adapter.

While that may be the case... You still need to be able to plug the darn thing in.

Well, I did edit my post and said that the adapter martee linked to is what would be needed. That adapter does allow the power supply to work with European power outlets.

don't worry just buy the adapter to convert the plug and it will work fine.

I;m using my laptop for almost a year in Kosovo and we have the same plugs like you have back there in Swiss
