I'm thinking about getting an 8 gb class 6 microSDHC card for my phone, but some reviews say that the card isn't compatible with the card reader on their pc (using the provided adapter). Does anyone know if the multi-card reader on the FX supports this type of card?

Here's the SDHC card: google shop.

    Thanks!

Edit: After reading some reviews, this one seems to be a better card; the same question applies though.

A-DATAs are solid cards. I have an 8 gig and a 4 gig. The card reader alone won't support the tiny mircoSDHC card, but it looks like it comes with an adapter, so it won't be a problem.

Oh, I see you have a 172X. I don't really know about those. I think it would though. If the card reader says SD on it, it should be ok.

I've been using several SDHC cards in the 7811 FX (For my G1) and have had no problem using the built in card reader to format and partition cards.

I've also used a couple of those Kingston adapters that let you use Micro SD cards.

Just to confirm, the card reader on the 172 (which has a Santa Rosa chipset, etc.) can handle the SDHC just fine. Thanks for all the replies.
