Just flipped over my laptop (6860).. and saw that on the GPU vent, (inside) there were a layers of dust on top the fan... So I figured that this might be a contributing factor in my recent GPU temp problems.
So, I grabbed my moms hairdrier - set it cool air (as hot air would probably fry the rig), and let it rip through the GPU-vent exhaust... Here, 10 minutes later, my GPU is 6c cooler when idling. I tried stressing it, and before my result with Furmark for 3 mins was 77c.. After cleaning the fan, I got a 70c temp reading from running Furmark for 4 mins!
So quite a big improvement!! Figured it might be of some inspiration to some of yall...![]()

well as long as you avoid leaf blowers...

This is how i always clean my laptop using a hairdrier xD
Its good for cleaning dust out the keyboard too. -
Why use a hair-dryer (or leaf blower) rather than a hoover?

hahaha hilarious responses.
"MOOOM! Where is the blow-dryer? I never know what shes doing back there"
