    That's more of a GPU issue, I'd think, as 1920x1200 is a lot for that GPU. Did you try updating the card drivers?

    You will get better FPS with XP, but as someone else said, 1900x1200 is a lot of resolution. I have a stock 6860 with XP and on that res, I have somewhat low FPS, but not terrible (30-60 in COD4 with a couple of graphics tweaks).

    The best fix is a CPU upgrade, because that'll let the GPU run at full speed no matter what. I'm watching the T9300 prices now for mine.

    The next best is what I'm doing now- a monitor that lets you run a lower resolution at at 1:1 ratio (letterboxed instead of stretched). I run 1680x1050 on most games that way and find the frames good to acceptable, and I can turn down the resolution to get better FPS if I need to without suffering a fuzzy display.
