    hi all
    my p7805u is in a mess these days. My lappy is showing some really confusing problems with the fps in games...sometimes i see good fps..and after restarting the game... it dips down so low with the same game...
    today for instance..i was playing race driver grid ..i was geting good fps..after restarting the pc...i played the game again...the fps dipped down very low...the temps are normal around 30-50 c...now i am having this problem with all games...i am getting low fps ...i dont know whats the problem...plzz help out...this problem is driving me crzy

    Do you have Vista set to High Performance Mode? And, is the laptop plugged in?

    well man thats your prob... right click on the battery icon and set it to high performance and you'll be good to go :)

    Are there differences between 'balance' and 'high' in terms of gaming?

    yeah.. balanced allows the CPU to drop below 100%, and run as low as 5% when plugged in.. High Performance locks it in @ 100% - Also, your PCI express uses Moderate Power savings when set to balanced(GPU not fully powered) - Just slows everything down a bit.

    and download the powermizer switch as well. It is comes in handy when you want to continuosly play games.

    well my problem is with games too but in my case im not able to conect a external mouse or joypad beacause if i do, the game freez the computer, and if i didnt start a game and conect the external mouse, the touch pad still working and the secondari buton in the mouse didnt. maybe is a bug, and if it`s what can i do plizz someone help me @.@
