I did a complete reformat and whenever I switch sound devices between laptop speakers, external speakers, or HDMI, I have to change the default playback device (right clicking speaker in toolbar) to whatever I'm using. I feel like before the reformat the laptop would autodetect which I'm using. I.E., I'd be using laptop speakers but then when I plug external speakers or headphones in, it would detect that and switch. I'm not positive that it ever did that, but I feel like it did, can someone give me some insight as to if this is an issue and if theres a solution?

Well, oddly enough, I just had to do it for the first time (following my update to the 9c.12 BIOS). It worked via auto-sense after I formatted and loaded a V-Lited Vista Ultimate from my Action Pack sub.

As far as annoyances go, this one's relatively minor. =/

I have the same problem. I don't know if it ever worked because the first thing I did was reformat. Any help is greatly appreciated.
