    I just learned how to check the core temperatures

    What are normal temperatures for the Core2??

    On my 6625WD:

    Idle: 52-54c
    100% cpu usage: 70-72c

    It's undervolted btw..

    im using a program called cpuID , its showing 2 temperatures
    core 0 36
    core 1 43

    I used Arctic ceramique instead of Arctic Silver 5 because someone recommended it.
    Is Arctic Silver 5 really better?

    from the temp you are getting, i don't think there is a big difference, people generally get 40-45 idle degrees
