    I play everquest and the game is very Cpu driven, I wanted to OC to 2.6ish :)

    In your sig you state you have the t9500...thats a 2.6gHz processor....

    something doesn't add up here :confused:

    Why didn't you just get the x9000. you can get them for about 340-370 on Ebay. The t9300 is going for about 300.

    If you were going to over clock instantly, I would think the little extra money upfront would save you the head ache of all the OC tests later

    yeah...neither rmclock or crystalcpu will over clock past the bios clocks

    didn't see any benchmarks, fps or anything else that would show this lappy cant play everquest. (make sure you have laptop set to high performance)

    and a t9300 is no slouch at 2.5 ghz and a 6 meg cache.

    only the x series chip can be over clocked on the p series gateway at the moment. and it can only be over clocked up to 3.0 ghz at the moment.

    mine wont wont work for vista 64, but i think forerunner has one though.
