    hey guys i didnt have anything to do so i just wanted to know how much did u guys paid for your laptops

    it doesnt have a specific model(like just 7811) i just want to know who got the cheapest price on their laptop on the forum

    and the winner will be crowded

    I got my old mx6441 for FREE from a friend but t has been the most reliable lappy ever he used it for 3 years and i have used it for a year and its still kicking strong i have an emotional bond with this thing lol

    lol i dont want to be be bad but ik that u can get some on ebay cheaper...

    until now the best deal(that actually bought something) is hanime with a p-7811 for 752 bucks

    i got my 7811 for $1150 in november...
    some-one here on the forums got their 7805 or 7801 for $250... so i believe he will win this XD

    I don't know, someone on here also got a P-7805u with the 1920x1200 screen for $450. He knew someone at gateway.
    :p
    Said thats the price it costs them to make the systems and thats what they gave it to him for.
    Shows how much we're getting overcharged :p

    (also bought a 1 year warranty and customized it a bit with some hardware; HDD, BD-Rom and Bluetooth)

    EDIT: Ok, you guys wanna throw rebates into the mix. Live cashback, $91. Also got $15 back paypal rebate ($15 back on $75 or more, drive cost me about ~$75.02 after shipping and tax), plus $1.20 live cashback on the HDD.

    the cheapest that i found was 950 for a p-7811 at ebay and it was refurb :(

    ill try to get a look for a better deal now

    I did the live cashback deal on ebay and got my 6831fx for 710 after tax and shipping. I added an X7800 for another 140 after tax and shipping so altogether came up to 850$ for a used 6831fx with X7800. Hopefully I don't spend anymore on this.
