    But like the review said, you can get Crysis to run on very high on DX9, which is what a number of people have done. Perfect for those running 7950GTXs.

    Nonetheless, there is a substantial difference for quite a few of the shots. I actually prefer the DX9 version of the gun sights, I think the area blurred looks more accurate, but the DX10 version looks prettier. I guess it's a question of verisimilitude versus pretty looks.

    DX10 is great, but in its infancy. Current graphical improvements are usually not worth the framerate hit.

    It's a bit different and DX10 looks more realistic.But I still prefer high frame rate DX9 to lower frame Dx10.

    yes, i like the higher fram rate as well...was averaging 22+ in firefights on high at 1920x1200 res with a periodic dip to 15. using dx9

    I played it with the Very High DX9 mod and natural mod, game played well and looked fantastic, at 1440x900
