What is the newest driver for 9800m GT in the xfastest category. And does anyone have a link?

    PhysX? nTune? Links?

I don't know what threads are good and what are old.

I notice with some drivers they get a lower SM2.0 rating than others. What is SM2.0 (3DMark06).

Also, how the heck do you read 3D Vantage? I am confused by the numbers and what I should choose as a basic.

Any help with these issues will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Jerry

okay, installed the 180.70 XFastest drivers, physX, and nTune, and the .12 BIOS.

Did a complete new reformat to factory settings.

Here is what I have tested so far and I just can't get anywhere close to where I was at before. My SM2.0 score is like 1000 points lower than previously. I can't get up past 8600. I even did 2 settings the same and I am still getting different readings each time.

Where is E-Wrecked when you need him.

    8150 - 700/875/1750

    8285 - 700/1000/1800

    8336 - 698/988/1750

    8345 - 740/940/1820

    8433 - 713/940/1900 - Fireworks, shader level to high?

    8546 - 702/899/1788

    8615 - 720/920/1800

Uninstall the video drivers, ntune, physx and use driver sweeper to clean in safe mode. Then Install the factory driver from gateways support site. Also, install ntune. Make sure directx is updated. Should work fine from there.

Install 177.85 and then uninstall(2nd method)

Only other thing, is the comp set on High Performance power scheme?

    Lemme know if it works.

EDIT: When this happened to me.. I think this is what fixed it.

Xfastest 177.85 worked really well for me and better than Xfastest 180.70 in my opinion..
