    i have that problem. system is p 7805u.everything is stock with zalman nc 2000 under.
    anyone can help with some advice ?
    its seems dispaly driver is resetting with frame rate drop and 3-4 seconds black screen . only solution is ctrl,alt,del and back to desktop.
    temperatures are fine 48 50 58 for acpi
    42 42 59 for gpu
    34 25 44 cpu ( right after that stuped freeze )
    i dont think overheating is problem here, ... tried every driver possible without success. i get this when check the log :

    display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and recover successfully.

    there is one more thing, i bought laptop in usa and moved to europe. is it chance the usa to european plug adapter isnt working properly coz i have readed a lot of people have this problem when psu is not powerfull or is defective.

    Try a different driver, such as the newest from nvidia.com:195.62

    also got the same problem after trying the gpu volt mod, really strange. there alot of threads about this on nvidia forum.
