Having a dial-up connection problem on my 7515. Modem works, however, I have to restart notebook everytime I connect online. Cant connect when I disconnect and reconnect again (error message appears).

Tried Tech Support, they had me go into misconfig and disable the start-up items. After that it worked fine, but when I reset to Normal Star-Up, I get the same problem. She said it might be a conflict with the Anit-Virus program or something. First time this happened to me.

    Appreciate any suggestions, thanxs.

Did you check for a new driver? And what did you disable that allowed it to work properly? I would think that program is the issue.

I recently checked, but the wizard couldn't find any, gonna try again later tonight. Thinking of calling Gateway back and see if they can replace the driver. I just had computer for only about a month.

I had the Start Up Items disabled. That allowed it to work properly, but again, when reset to Normal Start up, problem re-occur.
