1: did you click the apply button?
2: did you try and click the restore defaults button?

Speaking of.. I was trying to do something with the specific settings for one game.. I ended up hitting restore defaults and now my 3DMark06 is alot lower then it was. Anyone that can take a SS of the presets the lappy came with or at least what they should be?

    that would be the presets....

you would need to check out MANAGE 3D SETTINGS & ADJUST IMAGE SETTINGS WITH PREVIEW.

the first one defines who will control the GPU & the second one is the global and program settings.

these settings control about 98 percent of what your gpu will do as far as performance and quality go. a lot of these inf files make changes here and thus the difference in performance between them.

i would get very familiar with this stuff here, if you really want to control how your gpu functions.

Did you install the 177.98 drivers?

If so that is probably your issue, there is a bug with the digital vibrance being stuck at 100% just as you described.

Everyone seems to be using the Xfastest 177.85 drivers atm for best performance if you want to go that route.

I believe the digital vibrance error only seems to affect 177.9x drivers. I saw some posts about it over at LaptopVideo2Go.

Check the GPU thread, it has the drivers and complete instructions on how to update your drivers the proper way.

Confirm, the Digital Vibrance stuck at 100% but on mine it does it when I come out of "sleep" mode. I will go back to the 177.85 driver
