I am trying to find out if the FX series offers a Texas Instruments 1394 chipset.

Can someone do me a favor and go into the device manager and look under 1394 controllers and tell me what kind it has.

(i.e. Ricoh OHCI Compliant... , Agere OHCI Compliant... , TI OHCI Compliant... , etc...)

    Thanks.

Thanks. Unfortuneately there are some drivers that don't specify.

You don't happen to have Everest do you. Cause if you do you can find out the specific manufacturer of the 1394 chipset by going under devices --> physical devices.

Looking at the device settings (Windows XP) shows the IEEE1394 controller as O2Micro
