    Hi everybody,

    I bought from this
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8780198&type=product&id=1204332501169 so, this one "P-6860FX"

First time, Vista and general system have had a stability. After, I downgrade to XP. But, I didn't find some hardware drivers from XP and then I did install to Vista. But, now Vista hasn't stability, because I don't have hardware drivers CD or DVD.

    So,,,

I would like to initial state.

    Best Regards

English isn't your first language is it?

There is usually a Gateway Recovery program that has an option to create an Application and Driver DVD. Not sure if it comes back after OS Restore. I believe Gateways come with actual Vista install DVD's so probably not.

Your best bet is to go to Gateway's website and download the drivers.

If you still have your D partition, go to the following thread

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=257866

and follow directions to install Gateway Recovery Center. From GRC you can install everything that came with your computer, including drivers and preloaded software. You can even make your computer like it was when it came from the factory.

You need to use Quotes ("") like the directions stated.

Try typing "Gateway Recover Installer.MSI" WITH the quotes. I tried it and it installed it, but when I try to run any of the programs it says that the partition is not found or something like that, yet I know that the recovery partition is still there. I hope this helps you. God Bless :)
