Whether it's for better air flow or ergonomics? I'm tinkering with it and it does seem to be a bit more comfortable with the screen up higher.

So what do you guys do?

I used to prop the back up an inch or two when gaming then I got a notebook cooler and that helps out better

i use these. They come with disc's that stick on the bottom for the feet to stay on. I stuck them right on each side of the battery, and the 2 front corners.

i like it better propped up, it's a lot more comfortable, and i think it helps with the temp just a little.

I poked holes in my laptop with a screwdriver to provide more ventilation. It doesn't get hot anymore at all. It also doesn't turn on.

Thanks for reposting this. I want them. I'm away from my cooler for the winter and currently have my wallet propping up the back. Economy being what it is the wallet may get a little thin for proper ventilation.

might be able to save yourself some money with a few bottlecaps and a gluegun tho. Just take the wider thinner bottlecaps and put a soda bottle cap on top.

I actually have a few checkers in my laptop bag because I don't take my notebook cooler with me when i'm on the go

i usually place it on my boner and that props it up and gives it more air ventilation

P.S. it hurts after a while
