    Does anyone have their internal mic working on the P-78xx series in Windows 7?
    Mine shows up but does not work with anything.
    Tried several drivers, etc.

    My mic does not seem to record on windows sound recorder, but seems to work perfectly well with speech recognition, weird. I also tried a downloaded program to use my mic as a sound source, but doesn't record any sound from it.

    My internal mic works fine with all IM apps. Have not tried any recordings yet.

    What sound driver are you using?

    Edit:
    Downloaded and nstalled the driver from Gateway again and now mic works and Smart Audio is installed. I would have sworn I did this before.
