Page 86 of the 6860's reference manual states to charge it up to 40% then store in in the fridge (not freezeR).
I alternate energy use between the laptop battery or AC adapter for the first few weeks, but I think I want to use the adapter now as things seems to run much more fluidly and I feel there's better performance when running Prey/Bioshock (the screen colors seem to look more vibrant on AC adapter)
I am a bit confused about what exactly to do to extend the battery's lifespan. Do I use the battery a few times a week on partial discharge, then store it in the fridge while switching over to AC adapter?
Or should I just leave it in the fridge altogether and use the AC adapter only?
Thanks.

this explains in detail what i was trying to get some others to see about the gateway battery and gaming while on battery.
Does anyone actually store the Gateway battery in the fridge?
