Does the P-7801u come with the WD Caviar Black Hard Drive like the 7805?

    As the title states....

Long story short, I just sold my 7805 that's in my sig. Having sellers remorse, I'm buying the 7801 because I know I'll get the 1920 screen.

My 7805 came with the WD drive, and I want to raid them again, but I am unsure if I should go out and buy the WD drive again if the 7801 is going to come with a different brand drive.

    Anyone know?

I think i read somewhere they were using seagate drives, but that might be for the 6000 series and the 7000 series has the WD. Buy two WD 320GB 7200 RPM from Best Buy, they are fairly cheap.

    Right. ;)

I'm just concerned though that there will be a Segate, Hitachi, or something else in there that won't be an exact match like it was with the 7805. I was going to order that drive you linked to when I ordered my 7801, but I held off because of the uncertainty.

I guess the only way to find out is when I get the 7801 pop it open, see what's in there, and go from there.

You can always take out the one in your laptop and double check.

That's why I've recommended waiting until you know what you have if you really want to match the drive exactly.
