Ok sometimes my FX runs hot sometimes not.....on my desk sometimes there are papers sometimes not. I have been setting my FX on a piece or 2 of paper and the fan has been sucking it up to block air flow.....

Really, and I think this is the better question, if you are annoyed by a thread why waste your time reading on and/or replying to the thread?

Uncool. Cut the guy some slack, just because you are apparently perfect we all have to gain your approval?

And as for mthomp71, dude, we have ALL, except the above apparently, been there in one way or another. And seriously, it is something that just a sheet or two of paper could make that much of a difference.

why are you getting so mad? i was asking what the point of the thread was because he didn't really make any clear topic. I don't think anyone here was trying to be rude about it at all, maybe it's just the way you read it.

Leaving a clear area around the left side gpu area will also lower temps a bit (in general, having a clean, orderly desk, will lower temps a bit)

Sorry but who's post are you referring to? because it surely isn't N00D13's. He was asking what the point of the thread was, you simply decided to interpret that as being rude because you apparently wanted to make a flame post. Save us your whining please... no one wants to read something like that..

    Lol now now boys :p
    To clear it up:
    The thread says "Dumb Discoveries"
I'm GUESSING this is a thread to tell about some dumb discoveries you've found/made.
And about the paper, that is his Dumb Discovery. Hence the thread title....
