    Hi:

I have just purchased a Gateway NV5302u notebook with Win 7 Home Premium. I find that the track pad is very slow and erattic, and cannot find any cure via the control panel or instruction manual. Basically, the cursor starts to follow finer movement on the track pad and then stops even though finger movement continues. It works better when more pressure is applied to the track pad, even though the manual says to use light pressure.

Gateway tech support said to restore the computer to its orginal condition, which I did for other reasons, but it did not solve the cursor problem.

    Does any one have suggestions?
