I have an Emachines W2686 which I have been playing World of Warcraft on. I have been through 3 months of getting no answers, and I wanted to see if anyone else knows. I have updated every driver; I have DirectX 9.0c, I have conflicts within the system. I have 1024 Megs of RAM, an NVIDIA GE Force 5500. I have replaced the power supply from the faulty one they sent me with the computer. My motherboard does not seem to have any problems. All voltages and temperatures are within normal limits inside, and outside the game.
I'm sure all the cards are seated firmly, including the RAM. My internet connection is rock solid. It only crashes within that specific game, yet their tech support have no answers for me. While playing the game, the monitor screen simply goes black. Then the computer restarts as if I have just turned it on. There are no error messages, no conflicts, and no indication that anything is wrong. Please help.
