    I have a 6860FX.

I also have a 22" Gateway LCD monitor.

I hooked it up using a VGA cable and switch the 6860FX to use the monitor instead of the internal LCD but I keep getting what kinds looks like interference or "scan waves" in the image.

Hard to describe and it only happens in games...the desktop looks fine, web pages look fine...so only when DX9 is being used.

Best way to describe is it kinda looks like what cam corder recordings of older CRT displays looked like when you watched the video...i.e seeing the scan lines.

At first I thought I had a bad cable, or that I had some whacky resolution or refresh rate setting for my drivers...so I double checked everything.

I also get the same effect if I hook the 6860FX to my Vizio 47" LCD HDTV using HDMI.

FYI happens with Windows XP and Vista 64.
