I just got my new Machine about a week ago, and i've been having multiple crashes since I started playing WoW.
I took the advice and downloaded new drivers, and the ones i'm using now are Dox's latest.
These seem to be the most stable so far, but it froze up on me not too long ago.
My GPU temp never goes above 60C so what is it that is wrong?
Please help. :[

It all depends on how you install the drivers.
1. Uninstall the Driver
2. Run Driver Sweeper 2x
3. Reboot into safe mode
4. Run driver sweeper again
5. Use the have Disk method
6. Reboot normally
If that doesnt solve you problem i dont know whats going on. Thats my way of installing my drivers. GOOD LUCK -
Is Safe Mode essential? I've done that exact pattern, but without safe mode.

No you shouldn't have to boot into safe mode.
Try a different driver - what version of Dox's are you using? -
Dox's Customised Forceware 180.43
Is there a stable one that I can use? At this point I'm not concerned with benchmarking or stats. I just want something that will allow me to play for more than 3 hours. xP -
Just installed Portal to test if it was just WoW, and unfortunately it happens in Portal as well.
Is this a fixable problem or should I send the computer back? -
Did you mention what laptop you have? How long can you play portal before it freezes? And when the freeze occurs, did you try ctrl-alt-del and try to bring up task manager? I had HL2 freeze on me last night. Vista had popped up a little windowthat informed me that HL2 had halted and asked if I wanted to just end it, or go out to the web and look for a solution. Of course, HL2 was still in full screen so I couldn't see the little popup window. And Vista won't let you alt-tab or windows-tab or anything else until you answer the question, even though you can't see the popup, because Windows knows best. So after I got task manager going and finally saw the popup, I elected to just end HL2. Then I restarted and played for another hour or so, with no reboot. I'm not saying that this is your problem, but it is something to look for.

I'm having the same problem, and i noticed it is worst on steam games like hl2dm, i can't play for more than 1 hour without freeze the entire system, so I can't ctr+alt+del or alt tab or anything like that, forced to shutdown the note I'am using Dox 180.43 too but already tried the Xfast 177 but no success temps are ok cpu 49 gpu 69 in game, on far cry 2 it never happens, on grid sometimes, on any steam games alltime, it's ramdom don't know what to do too

That's really strange. It does point to a driver issue but I've never had a problem with Steam games on any driver. Have you installed many other apps like anti-virus - sometimes very intrusive apps (like AV) can cause problems. Worst comes to the worst try a complete OS reinstall and if it still happens then it's probably a hardware fault of some kind.

add me to the list. same deal here in Team Fortress 2. been rocking it no stop since before Labor Day (was free! w/ price match) with no issues fully maxed. I have literally played 80 hours without an issue until earlier this week. I wonder if something is wrong with one of the ever present Steam upgrades.
driver: 177.92
system straight stock. -
I've gotten 2 lockups on HL2 so far, once on the initial load of the game. Both I could get out of with CTRL-ALT-DEL trick. I'm running DOX 178.24. FEAR, BIOSHOCK and the CRYSIS demo have had no problems. I'm thinking HL2, but I dunno. I played HL2 for quite some time after the load hang with no problems.
