How good is it? Has any one used it yet? I was thinking about getting another headset for my laptop, but if the quality on the on provided on the laptop is good, then all I would need to do is get some headphones.

I would imagine if you are playing a game without headphones the noise from the laptop speakers would be heard, maybe wear headphones, and use the lappy mic.

I used the mic on mine to play Halo2 Lan game and it worked great and I did not hear too much noise of what was going on around me but a headset and mic combo would probably work very well for gaming.

I had trouble with it playing Live For Speed with the mic and laptop speakers. Either that it was way quiet or that people heard the noise from the game. I used TeamSpeakRC2 for this.

Have not tried headphones yet, I either use a desktop mic or a headset (Very rarely now).
