    FX and without FX ??

    i saw few P-series products some of them with FX at the end and some are not ??

    are they the same thing ?/

    like Gateway P-171S AND Gateway P-171S FX

    and which is better for gaming and suffring internet

    The P implies that it's a 17 inch notebook, the fx implies that it's from the FX series of gaming notebooks.

    not sure what kind of answer you're looking for... if you're looking for a standard and consistent difference between FX and non FX as far as the build goes, I don't think there is one. its just a product line

    According to the Gateway "P Series" page and h e r e. -

    The P series:
    while the P series FX:

    At a minimum then, out of the box the FX's will have a higher end dedicated graphics card, more RAM, and larger HDs.
