Got a new media bar off ebay for my P-7811FX. It was just the bare plastic so I had to transfer over the electronic boards from the old to the new. The touch sensitive slider for the audio doesn't work now.
The ribbon cable to the touch board has a connecter, but the other end is just squeezed under the center board. I held it in place with tape and it looks right, but after several attempts have given up.

Has anyone come up with a procedure to assure this cable makes a good connections.
