FX wallpapers needed!

Guys, I just did a clean install of Vista. I decided not to keep windows old. Well I just realized that after the clean install I lost all those themes . Can some one post the fx themes and wallpapers. I would really appreciate it. Since i didn't keep windows old is there something else I may need that I'm missing?

Also, after my clean install I noticed something odd... i have a missing icon in the toolbar. I'll try to explain as best as I can without taking a screen shot (on work computer!). Next to the clock at the bottom right I have one icon to its left and then a gap where another icon should be and then the rest of the icons. I think I scrolled over the gap, but, I believe nothing is there. I know this isn't a big deal, but, I'm ANAL!

sadly i dont have the walls for ya; but to use custom themes on vista ya need to get vistaglazz, or do a registry hck. id recommend vistaglazz, google it, whih does the hack for you, cause i couldnt find a decent guide to doing the hack
and the gap is meant to be there. I dont know why, but it is. If you add the network, power and sound volume items they appear next to the clock too, before the gap. its just the way of vista, i believe. annoying tho...

Great site. I've been lurking here a few weeks now reading up on all of the useful information for this laptop. I made different wallpaper using the black and orange color scheme if anyone wants it.

Thanks for adding these wallpapers! I forgot to download them myself when I reinstalled Vista and backed up all my drivers using the Gateway software. I thought that the program would have done that....silly me! LOL

I still consider this a WiP, and would love if people would post their top 12-20 all-time favorite games that way I can add more to the montage or make a different wallpaper based on new game ideas. I'm really looking for the best of the best when it comes to gaming. Try to be diverse please, the best games from all the different gaming genres. If you have images or screens from your list, feel free to post them, I'll see what I can do in adding them.

 

How About WoW, and Everquest2. COD4 also

 

The latest games would be cool COD4, World in Conflict, Bioshock, UT3, Crysis, Team fortress 2 would be awesome.

This might be weird to ask. I was wondering with someone of you that have the P6831fx if you still have the original wallpapers that came with it like the ones with staff signatures(Rocks with streamed water and the other one I can't remember what it looks like), and upload those for me? I reinstalled to Vista Ultimate 32 and deleted the Partition D, but did not save the wallpapers to keep. I wanted to get rid of the extra software bundle crapware off, but I like those wallpapers. Can someone do that? Thanks in advance!

Use tinypic or some image host that doesn't have a minute wait.

 

It is alright. I already get them. I don't mind waiting the minute each for two things. Now, if it was for like 50 different wallpapers at 1 at a time then I would mind.
