    Hey im just curious is the built in Firewire on my mx7515 faster then putting a PC Card with firewire? Considering the device an external HD is firewire 1 not 2.

    There should be no difference; if anything, the PC card Firewire might actually be a bit slower since it isn't integrated directly into the motherboard chipset.
