    Hi all,

The Fn key for standby mode(Fn + F3) in my Gateway laptop was not working correctly. I tried to set it with xbindkeys package. But when i tried to assign command for standby fuction, the key combination of Fn +F3 is not detected. What is the reason for this? Im using gxine player for audio and video. I want to control the gxine player through command prompt. Is there commands to control the audio settings through command prompt? Where is the file for the hotkeys in linux?

    Regards,
    Anitha..
