    Fn key problem

    I received a Gateway MX6447 for x-mas and it has been working great up until a few days ago. The computer still runs fine it's just that now whenever I push the Fn key + Volume control or the Fn key + Brightness control the screen goes black for several seconds. The keys still will change the brightness or the volume though. I've updated every driver that I thought could be related to the problem with no luck. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
