I know that the P series laptops come with the FN key backwards with the Ctrl key and I believe this may be a good solution for gamers that want to crouch easier! I'm not sure, because I don't exactly own mine yet, but heres a link. Somebody should give it a try!

It's a nice thought, but seeing as how the Fn key isn't controlled by Windows, that most likely won't work.

Hm... this looks interesting.
I would like to find out if this will work too because the MSI Wind that I just ordered has the FN key on the very left side (switched with the Ctrl key) as well.
Please update us on how/if it works!! -
I figured it wouldn't work for the reason Dook said but was not sure on what level that software remaps keys or the specifics of the keyboard's hardware so I did not want to say anything...

You cant remap the fn key. Its a hard wired leveling key. The only way to change it would be to rewire the keyboard (something not many of us are able to do)
I've tried every remapping tool i could find as well as editing the keyboard registry to with in an inch of its life and i couldn't change it.
Other than wiring "maybe" it would be possible with a firmware flash...but i have yet to find one that would work.
Found something nifty!
