    Frame drops every few seconds in game 7811FX

    I don't know what causes it. is it the driver? im usinf xfast 177.85 and have been having this problem. this is my second laptop and my previous one had the same problem also

    mista, you running HWMonitor as you game? It's quite possibly a CPU downthrottle issue, especially if you are OC'ing the video card. Check your TZS0 high temp after gaming, if it is reaching 98c that is your problem..if that's not the problem, then make sure powermizer is disabled in your registry(with xfastest it shouldnt exist anyhow).. and if you're still having issues after that, I feel a bit better cause it means the BIOS wouldnt have solved all of my problems either ;)

    I think I have automatic powermizer enabled, my TZS0 is not that high during gaming when I checked with HWmonitor. Would this be fixed if I just make my GPU on high all the time? and if it is how would I do it?
