So I just ran Prime95 for 30 minutes, and FurMark for 15 minutes,

and these are what my tempatures got up to:

I'm thinking they are really high, or is this normal for these kinds of tests?

I got no errors of any kind from either test.

In FurMark the FPS's were 10FPS the entire time.

Here's my 3Dmark scores, question... Is it normal for the "CPU test" to have 0-2FPS?

Your CPU and GPU do not seem to be near their maximum safe operating temperatures.

The mobo temp seems a bit high, though. The confined spaces of a laptop are not conducive to good airflow. Of course, Furmark and Prime attempt to push your computer as much as possible. That's why they are/were popular for OCers' stability tests. If your PC survives them, it should survive almost anything. How are your temps while gaming or running a "typical" benchmark? Are any dust bunnies lingering in your vents?

That CPU score is around what I would expect from your processor.

No dust, just did the complete tear down and AS5 to the GPU.

Check out this thread, for my normal no stress temps:

It's super weird, because I've been playing tera on max settings with no hiccups for the past 3 hours...

    I don't get it!!! lol.

Furmark is meant to load the GPU as high as possible. No games can come close to how much furmark can push them. That means temps will be higher. If your card is stable under furmark, it is stable under any programs. Don't worry about it.

ok, extreme burning mode explains 10 FPS. Even with the 260m at 1920x1200 I only see 13 FPS but at your res I see 31 FPS...............

Don't worry about the FPS. It doesn't matter at all. There are plenty of settings in furmark that can drastically change what you are getting.

Yup, I've got same 0-2 fps during those two default cpu tests. My E8435 scored 2810 points.

just did that furmark test... this thing is a beast, it took 1000 frames to get my gpu 85C hot! my min fps was 11, max 13 and 11 average (gpu OC and furmark at default settings).

I don't feel so bad then.

Can you do me a favor?

Can you run Prime 95 for 30 minutes, and post a screen shot of your HW Temps? Would really appreciate it!

A heads up: Prime really is a monster. It pushed my stock i7-2600k in my DESKTOP to 95 C before I shut down my PC and replaced the stock HSF with a water cooling system. Just some perspective for you.

It is meant to be a monster. About the only real world app I have is xilisoft HD video converter that stress's the cpu as heavily. So if you can run Pime95 with 100% stability you are pretty much good to go..............

I got some ICD7 on the way, going to slime the NB and CPU with it, not going to break it back down to the GPU, seems to be running fine with the AS5
