    Hey about a year back a got a Compaq Pressario V6000. I had nothing but trouble with it and had to send it in a total of three times( i took good care of it , it was hardware problems.) Anyways it is now unfixible and office max is allowing me to purchase another computer for the same price. 600 plus the taxes. Of course i can spend any additional money that i choose. My question is, is this laptop any good?

    I heard gateway has really bad costumer service and alot of people have problems with hardware not to long after purchasing(gateways in general)
    Is this good for BASIC gaming , mostly school work and music?

    Any overall thoughts on this laptop or any personal opinions from anyone that has it?

    maybe Portal, FEAR, Fable 2(I doubt that will work)and Dead Space. Cant think of anything else.

    ok yeah I saw that site but heard it wasn't very reliable in terms of what games would play. Ok thanks everyone unless a better offer comes in a week ill be getting this

    Fable 2 is not on PC, only Xbox 360. Though I'm sure it will make its way to PC next year as the PC port of the first game came a year after the Xbox version.

    yeah lol i realized that after i posted but considering the laptops specs does it appear to be a computer that can handle it?

    anyone with this laptop with personal opinions?
