Alright guys...I tried to not do this cause...well frankly I didnt wanna look inept ;)...but I need to know where to buy a GPU fan for a Gateway P-6860 FX series laptop...For some reason the one that came with the laptop went out on me u_u...(yes it is burnt out, I've made sure that there is no dust in my system, and that the GPU fan was properly connected...) I'm in the military and about to go on deployment, and would like to have it with me that way I'm not too bored when I'm in downtime :p

Any solutions, or help or anything would be wonderful guys...Heck, even if you have an old GPU fan that I could buy from whomever would be great....

    Thanks in advance!

Uh try buying NZXT cooler and remove the fan that comes with the laptopso the air goes straight in. That should work.

heh, heh, noooo, he still won't get as much air as with a propperly fitted fan. Try http://www.laptoprepairparts.com/html/gateway.htm and select your model. Unfortunately, they don't have all the latest models (like the P7811FX) and not all parts list ALL the models they fit in.

Does this look like the fan you need? Can you get the part number off the fan? That's always the best way to determine what part will work.
