    Guys, I've encountered an issue:

Before, I was getting constant pulsing cooler, the GPU would go to 48C and imediately it would start to pulse until 38C, now it just doesn't pulse. When it goes up to 47, 48C it pulses a little bit until 44 and it stays there... what happened here guys?

Have you updated the bios lately? If so that may be the cause, otherwise your fan may be full of dust.

And I did not update it in any way.

Have you cleaned it in the last 4 months? I clean my laptop at least once a month. Those temps are still normal so there is no need to worry.

    How can I do that?

To clean the GPU cooler, I have to just spray the compressed air at the left air entrance?

    Thanks for the rep!

I spray under the left side. make sure you hold the fan in place with something because the fan can break if it spins too fast.

Oh okay. That will make things like dust to get of or I will have to open my notebook?

    Thanks!

Definitely it's not the gpu cooler, something at my system changed how the fan works.

Even with the back lifted it doesn't go below 42, 43C, and sometimes it reaches 53C. One bug I reported: if I open the GPUZ something at my GPU happens, I don't know if the clock changes, but the temperature only continues to go up no matter what I do, until I reboot my computer.

Does that happen with you guys?

    Thanks

From what I've seen the only thing that can change the way your fans work with CPU or GPU is the BIOS version. No one has been able to change the fan speed or management even if they wanted to. The fans are completely controlled through the BIOS. It's either a physical fan issue (dust?) or powermizer could be off. This can be solved by using Powermizer switch,
re-installing the driver or editing the registry yourself. Also perhaps if you're using an external laptop cooler perhaps you turned the fan settings lower?

That could be the problem, what does powermizer exactly do?

    Also, I'm using dox 185.85.

The lastest nvidia driver is good?

Powermizer lowers the clocks to different profiles based on the load or what applications are running. I found sometimes that powermizer would not pick up correctly in previous versions but 197.16 seems to handle this well and are solid performing drivers.

Hmm ok Psycho, thanks! It's very strange here, now the GPU got up to 55, and some days ago the peak was just 48...

    Thanks anyway
