    Gateway 3545 question...

    How do you adjust the display brightness when the power cord is unplugged? It is fine when it is plugged in but it gets really really dark when unplugged and just running on the battery. Thanks for the help.

    check ur display settings properties and set it to home/desktop when in battery mode

    You can adjust brightness with the Fn+(F8 up,F7 down) keys....this will bring brightness up or down as you need.
    If you bring it up it will consume more power shortening tou battery life...keep that in mind.
