    Hi all,

I have a gateway 400 laptop and it won't power up. After I press the power button, the power light would light up for like 2 seconds but I don't hear any sound during that and the light goes off and nothing else happen. This happens with both battery only and being plugged in.

I tried opening the laptop and see if there's any loose connection but I dont' find any. It looks like the power cord is ok since the battery is not drained and when it was plugged in, the charging light would light up. Anybody has any suggestion on what happened or what I can do?

    Thanks in advance !
