I was recently given a Gateway 4520GZ notebook. I went to upgrade the hardrive to a 320Gb but the notebook would only recognize 137GB. I was told the BIOS needed upgrading. After spending an hour "chatting" with a Gateway service tech, I was told that there was no BIOS upgrade available.....which I find hard to believe. The current BIOS is dated 6/29/2004 and I found out that it's an "M320" motherboard with a Phoenix BIOS. If anyone can kindly help me I would very much appreciate it. :)
