    Gateway 6840h dies with 75% battery

    I recently bought a replacement battery for my gateway mt6840h laptop. At the same time I reinstalled my OS (vista) on a new hard drive. The battery works fine and charges but after it reaches about 75% battery it shuts down. I can immediately start it back up and it will work fine for another 2 hours. It consistently does this. Any ideas? thanks.
